Specializing in simple, candid portraits of tots to teens

Don't forget about it after their first birthday.

Your children don’t outgrow professional photography after their first birthday.

Before making photography my full-time gig, I was totally guilty of this way of thinking. Newborn portraits - CHECK…6 month portraits - CHECK…First birthday portraits - CHECK…and done. NO! Don’t forget your little one is still growing and changing everyday! Honestly, my favorite photos of my children are when they were 2, 3, 4, and now 5! Their little personalities are sprouting BIG TIME at these ages, and I’m so happy I have photos of those big personalities and adorable expressions as they grow. My philosophy is to get all the photos of them that I can before they’re "too cool". Sadly, I think my son is almost there. So you better believe I’ll try getting in a few more photo sessions before that time comes.

Before I go, I asked a question the other day on Instagram. It was…"What is the one thing that holds you back from booking a photographer?" Can you guess what it was? CHOOSING OUTFITS! And I totally get it. It can be overwhelming…not knowing what looks best, the shopping, the returns, the extra money spent on something they’ll likely only wear once. So I’ve decided to make it easy for you. When you book a Styled Portrait session for your little one, you will have outfits at the studio ready to go that you know will photograph perfectly and you don’t have to worry about shopping or spending the extra money. And honestly, it makes me so darn happy to do this because I KNOW how important these photos will be to you and your children. I know you want timeless photos of them to last a lifetime. I know you want photos that you’ll be proud to display on your walls each and every year.
